Grace Victoria Cox is an American actress best known for playing Melanie Cross in the CBS series Under the Dome (2014-2015).
She starred as Veronica Sawyer in the first season of Heathers.
Personal life and career[]
Born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky, Cox currently resides in Los Angeles.
In 2014, shortly after arriving in Los Angeles, Cox landed her debut role as ‘Melanie Cross’ in Steven Spielberg and Stephen King’s executively produced series, “Under the Dome” for CBS. Additional television credits include Showtime’s recreation of the 1991 series, “Twin Peaks,” in which she played ‘Charlotte,’ and ‘Lynette ‘Squeaky’ Fromme’ in Lifetime’s “Manson’s Lost Girls.”
On the feature side, Cox will take the screen in two upcoming independent films as ‘Elena’ in “Savage Youth,” and as ‘Darcy Baines’ in “Public Affairs,” opposite Adrien Grenier and Mimi Rogers. Previously, Cox has starred in Director Gregg Araki’s short film for KENZO, “Here Now,” opposite Jane Levy in 2015 and co-starred in “The Archer,” which premiered at the South by Southwest Film Festival this year.
