'Big' Bud Dean is a character in Heathers. He is the owner of the energy company 'Big Bud Oil and Gas', and the father of JD.
He is portrayed by Jamie Kaler.

Early life[]
When JD was only a child, the two of them arrived home one evening to find their house on fire. Bud left JD in safe in the car as he ran to the house to investigate, only to find his wife had committed suicide.
