Heathers Available in the US....
Recently on a scour of several different sites to look for Heathers in case it was recently released. Fortunatly it seems the full first season was just released onto Movie Box for ios and on Show Box for android. If anoyone is interested in watching the show it is able to be streamed right now.
Heathers Being Shopped Elsewhere
The Paramount Network have decided to cancel Heathers ahead of its intended July 10th premiere and pull the upcoming episodes from its schedule. The show was original set to debut March 8th, but was delayed due to the Parkland school shootings in February.
Production on the 10-episode first season has long been completed and a writers room, opened months ago, had nearly completed work on a second season which would be tied to the first but set in a new location — and one that isn't a high school. The writers room is reportedly still open now and writers are close to the end of prepping season two.
The show is still being shopped elsewhere in the hopes of finding it a new home. Paramount would be selling a package consisting of season one and…

Hi, we’re back from Coachella. What’d we miss?
This past week, following almost two months of inactivity after the premiere was delayed, the Heathers' social media accounts have become active again!
Since April 25th, they have been posting new promotional content (^see above^) and teasing the reveal of a new premiere date in the coming week...
(The new premiere is rumoured to be May 16th - but this has yet to be confirmed!)
Pilot Review *SPOILERS*

I. LOVED. IT. SO. MUCH!
I firstly want to say that yes, this just won't be for some people because of the tone or comedic style etc. but I really hope people don't hate on it for not being 'true to the original film'. The series is inspired by the film yes, but its not just some simple recreation of the film! I love how they've started off with similar ideas to the film and familiar characters from the film but then they've shaken it up with a new twist so that they can tell their own story.
