Anne Sawyer was a recurring character on the first season of Heathers. She is the mother of Veronica Sawyer.

Biography

On one occasion, Anne and Mrs. Finn were both relaxing in the garden whilst supervising Veronica, Betty and Lucy playing. As the girls played croquet, the mothers gossiped about Mrs. Dean's suicide. (She's Going to Cry)

Anne and her husband, Kevin, often spent their leisure time sitting in their living room and reading up on current affairs issues. (Pilot)

Following the recent trend of teenage suicides, Anne and Kevin were concerned for Veronica's wellbeing. (Our Love is God)

After bumping into Mrs. Finn at the grocery store, Anne was surprised to hear that Betty had been sent to military school. She shared this news with Kevin, who agreed that it would be out of character for Betty to be acting out. Anne was worried that Veronica may have been involved somehow, but Kevin dismissed the idea and reminded Anne that they only had a year left before Veronica was out of the house. (Hot Probs)

When the Croquet Killer's murder of Lucy began to circulate in the news again, Anne and Kevin worriedly watched the news coverage.
